Georges Poirier Georges Poirier, 50, of Irishtown, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2004 at his residence following a sudden illness. Born April 13, 1954 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Louis, and Joséphine (Caissie) Poirier of Grande-Digue. He was employed as a courier with Purolator. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Barbara (Brown) Poirier; his precious children, Jessica (fiancé Andrew) and Charlene, both at home; three sisters, Bernice Arsenault (Gérard) of Moncton, Corinne Poirier of Fredericton, Cécile Poirier (Terry Gautreau) of Shediac; a brother, Pierre (Collette Levesque) of Shediac Bridge; several nieces, nephews and aunts. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday April 29, 2004 at Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
