J. Martin Aube 1919 - 2004 Martin Aube, 85, of Dupuis Avenue, Lakeville, formerly of Dalhousie, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2004. Born in Chatham NB on May 20, 1919, he was the son of the late Telesphore and Elizabeth (Elsleiger) Aube. Martin served with the RCAF during the Second World War, and was owner / operator of Aube Credit Jewelers in Dalhousie. He is survived by his sons, Maurice (Rose-Helene) of Dieppe, Arthur (Majella) of Eel River Crossing, Terry of Balmoral; sisters, Cecile, Evangeline, Lill, Lea, Florence; brothers, Adelard, Camille; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Bella (Melanson) and brothers, Edgar and Ernest. Visiting at Maher's Funeral Home in Dalhousie on Saturday, May 1, 2004 from 11 AM until the time of departure. The funeral mass will be held at 1PM at St. Jean Baptist Roman Catholic Church Dalhousie. A reception will follow in the Church hall. Interment in the parish cemetery.
