"Bea" Elizabeth Toogood PINEVALE, NS - "Bea" Elizabeth Toogood, 89, of Pinevale, Antigonish County, died April 29, 2004 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Annie (Reekie) Wright. She was a member of St. James United Church, Antigonish. Bea was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sons, Douglas (Mildred), David (Carole), Robert, all of Pinevale; daughters, Annie (Harley) Grimmer, St. Margaret's Bay, Elizabeth (Ken) Uloth, Hammonds Plains, Mae Newell, Spryfield, Margaret (Wayne) Planetta, Hammonds Plains, Dorothy (Joe) van Bommel, Moncton, Mary (Ron) Taylor, Kentville, Sheilah (Lloyd) Jones, Riverview, New Brunswick; 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Harold; brothers, David, Hugh, Jim and Andrew; sisters, Cath Stewart and Edith Brander. Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday from where funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jim Forbes officiating.
