Paul A. Sullivan

Paul A. Sullivan 1926-2004 Paul A. Sullivan, 77, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 29, 2004. Born in Kouchibouguac, NB, he was the son of the late Daniel and Annie (Roach) Sullivan. He was a retired brakeman with the Canadian National Railway with 30 plus years service. He was a member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. Paul loved gardening and following his retirement he worked with the Hillsborough and Salem Railroad. He is survived by four sons, Danny (Nicole) of Irishtown, Rick (Wendy) of Riverview, Gary (Doreen) of Riverview and Anthony "Tony" (Wendy) of Moncton; four sisters, Annie Cormier of Moncton, Helen Houdelette of Mass. USA, Betty Wedelski of Florida and Alice Tuck of Moncton; one brother, Joseph E. Sullivan of Kelowna, BC; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Anna "Louise" Sullivan on April 4, 2004; and by seven brothers, William, Anthony, Arthur, Gerald, Leonard, David and Daniel. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road on Friday, April 30, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 11am with Father Jeff Doucette officiating. Parish prayers will be held at the funeral home Friday evening at 8:30pm. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview. Donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church Building Fund would be appreciated by his family.
