Ford S. Keith Ford S. Keith, 91, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Woodlawn Avenue, Moncton passed away at his residence on Monday May 24, 2004. Born in Cornhill, son of the late Chester and Elizabeth (Robinson) Keith. Ford was a former employee of Moncton Hardware and Canada Manpower. He was a long time member of Highfield St. United Baptist Church with over 81 years of service. He was a former Church Moderator, former Chairman of the Board of the Church Deacons, former Teller and served his church in various other capacities in past years, former Executive of the Young at Heart Group, former Chairman of the Board of Spencer Memorial Home and was a veteran of the Second World War, served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army in England and Continental Europe from 1940 to 1945. Ford will be sadly missed by his daughter, Ann Tate (Dennison), Moncton; son, Sterling (Janice), Quispamsis; grandchildren, Sarah Eastwood (Peter), Melissa Tate, Jennifer Keith (fiancee, Craig Ramsay); great grandson, Ethan; two nephews and one niece. Predeceased by his wife, Joan (Julian) Keith (1999), brother, Wendell (2001). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Wednesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Highfield St. United Baptist Church Thursday May 27, 2004, 2pm. Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
