Elva Jane Wilson

Elva Jane Wilson 1915 - 2004 Elva Jane Wilson passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 after celebrating her 89th birthday on May 26th. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Myrtle Carruthers (Taylor, Jarvis) and Allen Jarvis. She attended Wesley Memorial United Church, and was a long time member of the (G.I.A.) Grand International Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. She is survived by three daughters, Susan Jane Leaman (David) of Salisbury and their three children, Kris (Susan) of Dartmouth, Lisa in Fredericton and Deanna at home; Judith Anne MacKenzie (Clifford) of Stellarton and their two daughters, Cindy and Kelly both of Halifax; Bonita Leah Keirstead (Peter) and their two sons, Andrew (Hally) of Bedford and Matthew at home. She is also survived by her extended family, Corine Wetmore and her daughters Shelly and Shannon. She will also be missed by her pets and companions Teddy and her beautiful cat Sneakers. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Hartley John Wilson. Elva lived and loved life to the fullest. She cherished being with her family and wonderful friends. Many thanks to the staff in Palliative Care and Geriatric Ward at The Moncton Hospital. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St., Moncton, on Friday, June 4, 2004 from 2-4pm and 79pm. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 10:00am with Rev. Andrew Richardson officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Elva's family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
