Lucille Savoie 1952 - 2004 SHEDIAC, NB- Surrounded by members of her family, Lucille Savoie, 52, of Shediac passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Tracadie, N.B., January 27, 1952, she was the daughter of Régina Magee and the late Claude J. V. Savoie. Besides her mother, Régina (Magee) Savoie of Moncton, she is survived by three sons: Scott Ferguson (Manon) and their children: Miryam and Mylène all of Shediac Cape, Jonathan Ferguson (Melissa) and their children: Ethan and Ryley all of Moncton, Gregory Ferguson (Nicole) of Dieppe, one daughter, Isabelle Basque of Shediac; three sisters: Claudette Mogilevsky (Earl) of Fredericton, Francine Robichaud and Rachelle Savoie both of Moncton; six brothers: Paul (Marguerite) of Beresford, Raymond (Ella) of Fredericton, Donald of Shediac, Eric of Beloeil, QC., Bernard (Connie) of Moncton, Claude (Kathy) of Saint-John; a special friend Paul Harper of Moncton, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Caelan. She had been employed with Canada Post for 34 years, and recently held the position of Superintendent of Training for Canada Post for the N. B. Region. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297), visiting hours on Saturday from 7 to 9p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., and Monday from 2p.m. until 3:15p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 4p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2004 at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 415 Main St., Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A reception will be held at the Boishébert Club (322 Main St., Shediac) after the funeral service. The family has requested donations to the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Center of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (862-4225).
