Shirley A. Hebert 1933 - 2004 Shirley A. Hebert, 70, of Moncton and formerly of Hillsborough, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2004 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Moncton Hospital. She was the daughter of Rudolf and Helen (Manning) Lauder of Hillsborough, Albert Co. She settled in Moncton when she married Edgar of Shediac, who survives her after 51 years together. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother to four surviving children, Cheryl Hebert of Halifax, Janice Sutherland (Robert) Halifax, Denise Lane (Terry) of Calgary, Darren Hebert (Wendy) of Moncton. Shirley enjoyed gardening, making quilts, pickling, and doing a variety of crafts. She especially liked the visits with her children. She was raised with loving siblings, who all survive her; sisters, Clair Barkhouse (late Harold) of Hillsborough, Barbara Knapp (Alfred) of Fredericton; brother, Dale Lauder (Carol) of Riverview. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Erin, Anna, Angie, Jennelle, Kristen, Hannah, and Ben, as well as many nieces and nephews. Respecting Shirley's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
