Evelyn Hutchison PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Evelyn Hutchison, age 77, of Port Elgin, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 23, 2004. Born in Shemogue, NB, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (McNutt) Crossman. She is survived by her son, Rodney (Brenda) Allen of Sackville; daughter, Thelma (Boyd) Allen of Barrie, ON; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a brother, Lyman (Paulette) Crossman of Moncton, NB; six sisters, Grace Pauley and Ruby Ceretti, both of Port Elgin, Gloria (Bill) Wallace and Daphne (Gerald) Keenan, both of Moncton, Jane (Paul) Cormier of Saint John, and Bertha Garland of BC; two stepsons, George of Brampton, ON., Dennis (Carol) of Kingston, ON.; three stepdaughters, Thelma (Tim) Connor of Mississauga, ON., Cheryl Smith of Oakville, ON. and Candace Hutchison of Havelock, ON. She was predeceased by her husband, Allistair Hutchison in 1996. The remains have been forwarded for cremation. A time of visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Port Elgin, NB on Friday, June 25, 2004 from 2 to 4 pm. The funeral service will take place Friday evening at 7 pm from the funeral home, Rev. Jamie Gripton officiating. Burial will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery.
