Mary Lilias Allanach 1915 - 2004 Mary Lilias (Matheson) Allanach, born June 14, 1915, predeceased by her husband, Lea Allanach D.D.S. in 1984. She died June 29, 2004 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital of a lengthy illness, at the age of 89. She is survived by one son, Dr. Bill Allanach of Shediac, NB; three grandsons, Marsden Allanach of Edmonton, AB; Dr. Will Allanach (Camille Bonnell) of Moncton, John Allanach Allanach (Dr. Cynthia Savoy) of Moncton; great granddaughter, Janelle, daughter of John and Cynthia; and by one sister Isobel Boyle of London, ON; and by many nieces and nephews. Mary had her primary education in Edmunston, NB. Mary attended MacDonald College in Quebec. She received her dietetic internship at the Montreal General Hospital and taught home economics in Newcastle, NB and in Lachine, PQ. Mary was a life time member of the Beaver Curling Club and a member of the W. Ling Lawn Bowling Club in Shediac, NB and the Woman's University Club. She was member of the Central United Church, Moncton, NB. The Private Graveside and Committal Service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton with Rev. James MacDonald officiating. No flowers by request. Donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
