Elena May Cole 1913-2004 Sackville , N.B.- Elena M. Cole, age 90, of Sackville, N.B., passed away on Monday, June 28, 2004 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, N.B. Born in Midgic, N.B. on November 16, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Hannah (Collicott) Scott. Elena was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church and enjoyed listening to music. She liked to stay in touch with her family and friends by telephone and loved to spend time with her family and all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Pearl Goodwin of Sackville, N.B.; three sons Leroy "Bud" (Marie) Cole of Whitby, Ontario, Oscar (Juanita) Cole of Sackville, N.B. and Allan (Donna) Cole of Oshawa, Ontario; one brother Robert Scott of Aulac, N.B.; twenty granchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert G. Cole; two daughters Edith and Marilyn Cole; one son Russell Cole; one sister Sadie Sears; son-in-law Eldon Goodwin; one granddaughter and three great grandsons. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 30,2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Campbell's Funeral Home, Sackville, N.B. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 2 PM, at Campbell's Funeral Home, with Pastor John Kiehn officiating. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elena's memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
