Yolande Gordon 1937 - 2004 Yolande Gordon, 67, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 following a lengthy illness. Born in Montreal on February 20, 1937, daughter of the late Edgar and Ida (Hebert) Leger of Shediac Bridge. Yolande studied in St-Jerome, Quebec and taught Home Economics in Memramcook, NB. She had a passion for curling, petit-point, cooking, skating, dancing, world travel and enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones. A loving and devoted mother whose warm smile and welcoming ways could brighten any room. Her caring ways were unparalleled and as such she will be tremendously missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. May her light continue to shine through those who loved her best. She is survived by her daughters, Jyl Gordon of Moncton and Sheryl Gordon of Halifax; brothers, Edgar Leger of Moncton and Richard Leger of Shediac and sister, Claudette Fontaine of Caissie Cape. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband Max Gordon. With deep respect for Yolande's wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the funeral service to be held on Saturday, July 3, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, (506-8523530), 1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton. A reception for Yolande's friends and family will follow in the Garden View Reception Room of the funeral home. Donations in Yolande's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer Society. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Garden's.
