Hilliard Kenneth Beaumont 1915-2004 EDGETT'S LANDING, NB - Hilliard Kenneth Beaumont, 88, of Edgett's Landing passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital. Hilliard was born in Edgett's Landing on September 17, 1915, the son of the late Harry and Nettie (Graham) Beaumont. He was a member of the Valley Baptist Church. Hilliard worked at the Canadian Gypsum Company until his retirement. He enjoyed farming, being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He also spent many hours in his workshop and was known for his beautiful woodworking. Hilliard enjoyed life. He liked to take Bus Tours, always keeping the bus laughing by telling his numerous jokes. He had a great sense of humour and once you met Hilliard you definetly would never forget him. He especially loved times spent with his family and friends. He was a very special person who will be missed by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Beulah (Steeves) Nelson Beaumont of Edgett's Landing; his four daughters, Ola Woodworth (Alden) of Hopewell Hill, Marion Tingley of Edgett's Landing, Verna Beaumont of Curryville and Linda Black (Bernard) of Curryville; his two sons, Donald Beaumont (Winnie) of Grand Dique and Arden Beaumont (Marney) of Hillsborough; step-daughter, Joan Nelson (David Horne) of Moncton and step-son, Herbert Nelson (Carol) of Edgett's Landing; a sister, Nora Steeves of Hillsborough; his 17 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; he will also be missed by several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Jean (Mitton); his second wife , Ada (Cook) ; a daughter , Harrietti; daughter-in-law Shirley(Capson) Beaumont; son-in-law, Melvin Tingley; stepson Phillip; and by 11 brothers and sisters. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held from the Valley Baptist Church on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 2pm with Rev. Kevin Mahoney Officating. Internment will be held in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing, NB. Donations to the Valley Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
