Shirley Adele Christopher 1935 - 2004 RIVERSIDE-ALBERT, NB - Shirley Adele Christopher, 69, of Forest Dale Home and formerly of Hillsborough passed away on June 24, 2004 after a lengthy illness at the Forest Dale Nursing Home, Riverside-Albert. Shirley was born in Riverside on April 20, 1935, the daughter of Albert H. Land and the late Frances Z. (Carlin) Land. She was a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church. During Shirley's working years she worked as a Nursing Assistant. She was a very special lady and enjoyed times spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her father Albert Land of Hopewell Cape; daughter, Sherry Duff (Richard) of Winnipeg; sons, Paul Christopher of Edmonton, Alberta and Randy Christopher of Hillsborough/Haiti; brother, Melvin Land (Bev) of Hopewell Cape; two grandchildren, Robert and Christopher. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, George "Case" Christopher in 1994. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, July 3, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 4, 2004 at 2 pm with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
