Joey Bastarache 1978 - 2004 HAUT SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Joey Bastarache of Haut Saint-Antoine, NB passed away suddenly at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, NB on July 5, 2004 following a drowning accident. Born on October 23, 1978 in Moncton, N.B, he was the son of Norman Allain and Elizabeth (Betty) Bastarache. Joey worked as a Drywall installer and attended the Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine, NB. He is survived by is mother Elizabeth (Betty) Bastarache, Moncton; father, Norman Allain, Saint-Antoine; he was adopted by his maternal grandparents, Levi (Irma LeBlanc) Bastarache of Saint-Antoine; paternal grandfather, Mélème Cormier of Saint-Antoine; one sister Louise Bastarache of SaintAntoine; one half-sister, Jacinthe Allain of Moncton; brothers, Francis Bastarache of Calgary, Steven Bastarache of Moncton; one half-brother, Stephane Allain of Moncton; two aunts, Rose-Marie Jaillet, Anne Bastarache both of Saint-Antoine; one God son, Shawn; several uncles, aunts and cousins. He is resting at Saint-Antoine L' Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine with visiting hours Wednesday, July 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be at Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 4:00pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
