Daisy (Tozer) Somers MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Mrs. Daisy Lena Somers (Tozer) widow of Gerald Somers of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Trout Brook occurred on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at her residence at the age of 87. Born in Lyttleton, NB she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (Matthews) Tozer. Daisy is survived by three daughters, Mona Murdoch (John), Janet Johnson (John), Sherry Waye (Dana); seven sons, Robert (Wanda), Yerxa (Paula), Raymond, Jerry, Rickey (Adrienne), Wayne (Doreen) and Dean (Debbie); three brothers, Stillman, Lindsay (Yvonne) and Cyril (Wanda); 44 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 29 nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Back Road Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the 2nd floor of the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, the Back Road Cemetery or to a memorial of one's choice.
