Henri Poirier
Henri Poirier Henri Poirier, 79, of Collishaw Street, Moncton, passed away Friday, July 16, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born November 20, 1924 in GrandeDigue, he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Anne-Marie (Gallant) Poirier. He was a retired welder for M.F.M. Industries, a 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 6468, and Parkton Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Lucie (Gallant) Poirier; two sons, Marcel (Manon) of St-Lazarre, and André (Michelle) of Toronto; three sisters, Germaine Guertin (Armand) of Shediac, Huberte Poirier of Shediac Bridge, Aline Chartrand of Kanata, ON; a brother, Emmanuel (Anna) of Shediac Bridge; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by an infant Lisette, brothers Raymond, and Camille. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 20, 2004 at Notre-Dame-de-Gr~ce Roman Catholic Church (Parkton). Interment will be in Grande-Digue.
