Marie Martin 1914-2004 SHEDIAC, NB - Marie Martin, 89, wife of the late Fabien Martin, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Pointe-du-Chne passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Villa Providence. Born August 25, 1914 in Portage, N. B., she was the daughter of the late Willie and Elise (Bourgeois) Melanson. Marie is survived by a step-daughter, Dora Green of Oakville, ON.; two sons: Donald of Moncton, Reginald of Kitchener, ON; four step-sons, Cleophas (Yvonne) of Waltham, Mass., Edmond of Ottawa, ON., Antoine (Florence) of Shediac, Aimée (Sharon) of Edmonton, AB.; two sisters, Bernadette LeBlanc (Gonzague) of Saint John, Edéa LeBlanc (late Abbey) of Portage; several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Fabien (1975); two step-daughters, Elodie, Flora, and by three sisters, Florence, Emilienne and Corinne. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visiting hours on Thursday, August 5 from 2 to 4p.m. only. There will be no visiting hours prior to the funeral. The funeral mass will be held at 10a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2004 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment in the parish cemetery.
