Arthur Hawhorne 1916 - 2004 Arthur E. Hawthorne, 88, of Moncton, formerly of Petitcodiac and Penobsquis, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 19, 2004, atThe Moncton Hospital. Born in Waweig, Charlotte CO., NB, on February 17, 1916, he was the son of the late Albert and Uzilla Hawthorne. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Marguerite Hawthorne. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Linda Bustin (Harold), Joan Ryder (Eric); his three granddaughters, Candace Constantine (Chris), Kerri-Lea Ryder and Erika Ryder; two great grandchildren, Cameron and Alexandria Constantine. He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Bryant, Bell River, ON and Clara Bacon (Roger) of Amherst, NS and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, Keith and an infant brother Gordon. He was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church. He enjoyed many happy years of farm life with his wife Marguerite. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also got much enjoyment from his dog Reo. Visitation will be held at Armstrongs Funeral Home, Petitcodiac on Saturday, August 21, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held at the Petitcodiac United Baptist Church on Sunday, August, 22, 2004 at 2 pm. Internment in Pioneer Cemetery, Penobsquis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Petitcodiac United Baptist Church.
