Yvon Poirier Yvon Poirier, 92, of Résidence Aventure, Moncton, passed away Friday, August 20, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a short illness. Born April 25, 1912 in St-Philippe, he was the son of the late Philias and Agnès (Landry) Poirier. He had a trucking business before his retirement. He is survived by a daughter, Hélène Leger (Clarence Cormier) of Moncton; three grandchildren, Jacques, Nadine, and Judy; two great-grandchildren, Jakob, and Alex. He is predeceased by his wife, Julie (Caissie) Poirier in 1976; and his brother, Ovila. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 1 p.m. until time of departure (1:45).
