Alphonse Babin BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Alphone Babin, 95, husband of Bertha (Robichaud) Babin, of Bouctouche, NB, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, NB following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Louis de Kent, NB on March 6, 1909 he was the son of the late Jacques (Jim) Babin and Marguerite Robichaud. He was a member of the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Besides his wife, Bertha; he is survived by three daughters, Jeannette Cormier (Alcide) of Bouctouche, Thérèse Melanson (Laurie) of Waltham, Mass, Stella Cormier (Paul) of SainteMarie de Kent; three sons, Antoine of Bouctouche, Ted (Laurette) of SaintCharles de Kent, Jean (Alice) of NotreDame de Kent; two sisters, Eugénie Boone (Dan) of Oromocto, Régina Babin of Sainte-Anne de Kent; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Alice, Marie, Alma, Exelda; two brothers, Jean-Baptiste and Jos; and one grandchild, Alfred. Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis de Kent with visiting hours on Tuesday, August, 24, 2004 from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 4:00 pm at Saint-Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis de Kent. Interment, Parish Cemetery.
