Grant Delbert McCully SUSSEX, NB - Grant Delbert McCully passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home at the age 93. Born January 24, 1911 in Manhurst. He was the son of the late Shepherd and Victoria (Burgess) McCully. Grant was a retired farmer, whose hobbies included spending time in his garden and antiques. He was a member of the Sussex Baptist Church. He is survived by three sons, Gary of Hartland, Stanley (Anne) of Penobsquis and Glenn (Carol) of Hamilton, ON., six grandchildren, Ryan, Amy, Jaclynn, Bonnie, Cora-Lee and Matthew; four great grandchildren, Justice, Callista, Dayon and Emily; as well as several nieces and nephews. Grant was predeceased by his wife Eileen (Lounsbury) on August 18, 2004; a son James, seven brothers, Charlie, Seymour, Norman, Ross, Gordon, Shepherd and Bruce; six sisters, Maude, Jessie, Ena, Alice, Hazel and Lula. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Visiting hours will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street Petitcodiac on Tuesday from 7 to 9PM. The funeral service will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Jeff Benson officiating.
