Peacefully after a brief illness, with strength and courage, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, February 26, 2009, of Glenna E. Banks of Stafford Estates, Summerside. Born in Kingsboro, P.E.I., daughter of the late William and Winifred (Crabbe) Robertson. Wife of the late Robert W. (Bob) Banks. Mother of Bonnie (Doug) Wheatley, Charlottetown. Grandmother of Kendra (Eric) Stiwich, Duncan, British Columbia, and Brandon MacKenzie (Jillian Clark), Charlottetown. Great-grandmother of Ryca Stiwich and longtime friend to Linda Wilkie. Sister of Carmen (Peter) Schnaider, Wendell (Mildred) Robertson, Milfred Roberston, Harland Robertson and Wanda (Bodie) Dixon. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. No Visitation by personal request. Funeral service Sunday in the Kensington United Church at 3:30 p.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
