Stanislas "Stanley" Gallant 1914 - 2004 GRAND-BARACHOIS, NB -Stanislas "Stanley" Gallant, 90, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of GrandBarachois, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the Villa Providence after a lengthy illness. Born in Barachois, February 15, 1914, he was the son of the late Thomas Gallant and the late Monique Gallant. He was a fisherman and a past employee with the Dept. of Transport prior to his retirement. Stanley will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Adeline (Landry) Gallant of Grand-Barachois; daughters, Rose LeBlanc (Norbert) of Memramcook, Antoinette Petitpas (Vernon) of Shediac; sons, Jean (Yolande) and Hubert all of Grand-Barachois; sisters, Berthe Cormier (late Camille) of HauteAboujagane, Georgette Gallant ( Euclide) and Sarah Boudreau (Laurie) all of Grand-Barachois; brothers, Thomas "Tommy" (Louise) of Dieppe, Gonzague (late Anna) of Grand-Barachois; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Bernadette LeBlanc, Alice LeBlanc; five brothers, Edmond, Camille, Ulric, Alphonse, Omer; and by a grandson, Danny. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday from 9:30a.m. until time of departure at 10:35a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois.
