Rev. Murdo Mackay MILLERTON, NB - Rev. Murdo Mackay of Millerton, NB, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2004 at his late residence, at the age of 68. Born in Isle of Harris, Scotland, he was the son of the late Norman and Mary (MacLeod) Mackay. He was a Minister and Educator. He was the Minister of Ferguson Presbyterian and Grace Presbyterian Pastoral Charge. He was a member of Northumberland Lodge # 17 F & AM, member of Prince Charles Chapter # 27 Order of Eastern Star, member of Shriner's in Wawa. He is survived by three sisters, Mame MacLeod of the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, Christen Mackay of Edenborough, Scotland, Margaret of Calgary, Alberta; four nieces; two grand nieces and one grand nephew. He was predeceased by his parents. Rev. Murdo Mackay is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Grace Presbyterian Church, Millerton, NB, with Rev. Cal MacInnes officiating. Burial will follow in Ferguson Presbyterian Cemetery, Millerton, NB. Donations may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church Window Restoration.
