Margaret E. McKee, of Moose Jaw, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009. Margaret was born on December 31, 1925 at Zelma, SK. She married Harold McKee in 1949, and in 1973 they moved to Moose Jaw. Margaret enjoyed the beauty of nature, and was especially fond of Moose Jaw’s parks. She had a kind heart and a gentle smile. Predeceased by her husband Harold in 1977; her parents, two brothers and one sister, she is survived by her children: Linda (Ray) Meloche – Chilliwack, BC, and Alex (Connie) McKee – Grouard, AB; four grandchildren, one great-grandson; brother Jim; and sisters, Betty, Evelyn, Moira, Jean, and Roberta. A Memorial Tea will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Family Centre on Monday March 2, 2009 from 1:30 – 3:00 pm. A family tribute to honour Margaret will be held at 2:00 pm. Memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated. In living memory of Margaret, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
