Stella Melanson 1914 - 2004 GRAND-BARACHOIS, NB - Stella Melanson, 90, wife of the late Hervé Melanson, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Robichaud passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the Villa Providence. Born in Robichaud, April 23, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Bruno Thibodeau and the late Arzélie Cormier. Stella will be sadly missed by her loving family; three daughters, Georgianne Porelle (Raymond) of Cap-Pelé, Anne Hubbard (Ron) of Mississauga, ON., Fernande Melanson of Petit Rocher; one son, Raoul (Angela) of St. Joseph; two sisters, Anita Bourque of Shediac, Marcelyne Landry of Grand-Barachois; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Hervé (1976); she was also predeceased by two sons, Omer and Moril; two sisters, Juliette and Ernestine; and by one brother, Gérard Thibodeau. Resting at funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
