Maria Electra Johnson SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Maria Electra Johnson, age 90, of Sackville, occurred on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Rockport, she was a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Ward) Delesdernier. In her younger years she was very active with the United Church Women. She is survived by a brother, Rupert of Rockport; two sisters, Hester Mitton and Beulah MacDonald (Earl), both of Sackville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Garnet Johnson in 1966; a sister, Mildred Spence and two brothers, Douglas and Harold. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, 364-1300, with visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Friday, October 1, 2004 at 2 PM with Rev. Dr. Jamie Gripton officiating. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
