Helen C. Steeves 1927 - 2004 Helen C. Steeves, 77, of Berry Mills passed away peacefully at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 8, 2004. Born in Boundary Creek, daughter of the late Harley and Annie (Wortman) Mitton. Helen was a member of Berry Mills Baptist Church, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and working with flowers, but most of all she was always there to help and assist her family and friends. Helen will be sadly missed by her daughters, June Dawson, Sharron Steeves (Mark), Berry Mills; sons, Jim (Judy), Terry (Diane), Berry Mills; grandchildren, Kent, Blake, Shelley, Chad, Tracey and Jody; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and several others family members and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband Dewey V. Steeves (1979); brothers, Chester and Lloyd; sister, Jean. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton, (858-1995), Saturday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, October 10, 2004, 2:30pm.
