Norma MacDonald SAINT JOHN, NB - The death of Norma Madeline MacDonald of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Simon MacDonald, occurred on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, Norma was a daughter of the late William and Vivian (Matson) Burns. She is survived by one son, Bill (Margo) MacDonald of Ottawa, ON; two daughters, Vivian MacDonald (Steve Mitton) of Moncton and Cynthia (Bradford) Matthews of Saint John, NB; one brother, Malcolm Burns of Saint John, NB; one sister, Vivian Lunnin of North Bay, ON; six grandchildren, Angela (Derek) Colson, Heather MacDonald, Luke and Daniel Patterson, Ross and Scott Matthews; as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by six brothers, Arthur, James, Douglas, Bertram, Robert, and Gordon; and one sister, Marjorie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visiting on Monday, October 11, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from All Saints Church, 35 Park Avenue, Saint John on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
