Brian D. Taylor NOTRE DAME, NB - Brian D. Taylor, 57, of Notre Dame, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 11, 2004 following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Phyllis (MacWilliam) Taylor of Moncton and the late Donald Taylor. Brian was Branch Manager/Adjuster AIIC for Plant Hope Adjusters Ltd. and former Claims Manager A.I.I.C. for Zurich Canada Insurance. He worked for over 35 years in the general insurance industry, where he worked as a claims professional. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Church and The Men's Club within the Church; member of Salisbury Masonic Lodge #20 F&AM; member of the Insurance Institute of Canada; and member of the Blue Goose. For over 25 years he volunteered at the Notre Dame Community Center. Besides his mother, Brian will be sadly missed by his wife of over 33 years, Della (LeBlanc) Taylor; daughter, Sasha Taylor (Mario Richard) of Notre Dame; son, Shawn Taylor (Crystal Carruthers) of Moncton; sister, Barbara Porter of Moncton; brother, Jim Taylor (Jeannette) of Notre Dame; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Taylor and a brother, Scott (1967). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Thursday from 2 to 4. Funeral service at Wesley Memorial United Church, St. George Street, Moncton, on Thursday, October 14, 2004, at 7pm with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. Reception following the service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In Brian's memory donations to The Canadian Liver Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
