Ronald Melanson 1929 - 2004 Ronald Melanson, 75, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Gardner, Mass., he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Melina (née: LeBlanc) Melanson. Mr. Melanson retired from Co-op Atlantic, member of the UCT, Knights of Columbus, Council # 1310 and the Liberal Association. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (née: LeBlanc); three daughters, Vickie (Larry) Lavoie of Brampton, ON, Paula Melanson (Peter Goodine) of Fredericton and Lisa Melanson of Montreal, QC; one son, Ronald (Janice) of Montreal, QC; one sister, Grace (Jules) Richard of Trois-Rivière, QC; seven grandchildren, Trisha, Hélène, Luke, Alli, Joseph, Geneviève and Samuel; one great granddaughter, Alexa as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Sr. Jeannine Melanson, n.d.s.c. By request no visitation will be held at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated from the St.-Louis-deFrance (Lewisville) on Monday, October 18, 2004 at 11 am. Family will receive friends at a reception following the service.
