Laurie J. LeBlanc 1942 - 2004 LEOMINSTER, MASS - Laurie J. LeBlanc, 62, of Graham Street in Leominster died Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital. He was born on May 27, 1942 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada and was the son of Fred and Corinne (Gautreau) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc moved to the United States 23 years ago from New Brunswick. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for M.W. Clark of Westminster, Massachusetts before retiring in 1988 due to injury. Mr. LeBlanc was an avid fisherman and sports fan of the Patriots and Red Sox. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Gloria (Cormier) LeBlanc of Leominster; three sons, Brian J. LeBlanc of Leominster, Ricky LeBlanc of Fitchburg, and Steven LeBlanc of Lancaster; one daughter, Brenda Babineau of New Brunswick, Canada; two brothers, Leo LeBlanc of Germany, and Zoel LeBlanc of New Brunswick, Canada; three sisters, Irene Gallant of New Brunswick, Canada, Bernice Despres of Waltham, Massachusetts, Alfreda Boudreau of Montreal, Canada; ten grandchildren, Nathan LeBlanc, Avery LeBlanc, Amelia LeBlanc, Nicholas LeBlanc, Christine Babineau, Justin Babineau, Tanner LeBlanc, Mason LeBlanc, Jared LeBlanc, Westley LeBlanc. He was predeceased by a daughter Lisa LeBlanc in 1967. A funeral will be held on Monday, October 18, 2004 from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West Street in Leominster with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street in Leominster. After cremation at Rural Crematory in Worcester burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 17, 2004 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or donations made to the A.L.S. Association Mass.
