The death occurred at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, of Mary Gordon (O Gorman) of Murray Harbour, age 94. Beloved wife of the late laurie Gordon, dear mother of Lillian (George) Harris, Pauline (Bert) Harris, Lyall (Gloria) Gordon and Alden (Sandra) Gordon. Loving grandmother of Dale (Bill) Harris, Danny (Nancy) Harris, Yvonne (David) Garnhum, Marty (Donna) Harris, Gordie (Sherry) Harris, Shane (Deana) Harris, Alan (Kathy) Gordon, Faye (Kevin) Kitson, John (Krista) Gordon and Stacy (Brian) McIntyre. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Alice (MacDonald) O’Gorman, by her daughters Yvonne Moak, son-in-law Jerry Moak and by her brothers Joseph, Patrick and William. Resting at the Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday, March 1, from 2-4 p.m. only. Funeral service on Monday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment later in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Gillis Lodge or a charity of your choice.
