Evelyn J. Brown SALISBURY, NB - Evelyn Jane Brown, 93, of The Lions Villa Salisbury, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Brownville Junction, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Georgie (Graves) Gray. Evelyn worked for many years for the former Fred Colpitts Ltd. in Salisbury, was a member of Salisbury Baptist Church and a member of the Salisbury Villa Easy Living Club, where she resided for the last 20 years. She will be sadly missed by her devoted daughters, Ruth Holt (Frank), Oromocto, Mildred Hanley (late Leo), Riverview, and Ethel Gardiner (Peter), Georgetown, ON; daughter-in-law, Valerie Brown, Summerside PE: cherished grandchildren, David and Daniel Holt, Shelley and Shane Hanley, Cynthia and Paul Gardiner, Stephanie Bradley and Vanda DesRoches; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Clifford (1981), a son, Charles (1989), sisters, Helen Hatfield, Margaret McCaskill, Alice McKay and Sybil Jones, brothers, Hanford, Currie and Alfred Gray. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.
