Louise MacKinnon SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Louise MacKinnon, age 74, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 1, 2004. Born in Grand Falls, NL, she was a daughter of the late George and Joyce (Lacey) Norman. She lived her early years in Port Aux Basques before attending Mount Allison University and meeting her husband, Muir in Sackville. She was employed with Mount Allison University for 35 years, was a long time member of the Sackville United Church, a life member of the UCW, a member of the Sackville Art Association, and the Amherst Duplicate Bridge Club. She is survived by her son, Todd MacKinnon of Sackville; two grandsons, Aaron and Evan, both of Sackville; niece, Vicki Jeans of Seabright, NS; nephew, Richard Jeans of Courtney, BC; brothers-in-law, Geoffrey Allson of Bedford, NS, and John (Edna) MacKinnon of Sackville; sisters-in-law, Carol (Jack) Phinney of Sackville and Dorothy MacKinnon of B.C.; Aunt Blanche Lacey of Grand Falls, Nfld; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Muir; one son, Jamie and sister, Vera Allson. A memorial service will be held at the Sackville United Church on Friday, November 5, 2004 at 2 pm, Rev. Dr. Jamie Gription officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation may do so to the Sackville United Church or the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
