Tyler John Steeves
Tyler John Steeves ELGIN, NB - Tyler John Steeves of Elgin, age 19, passed away Monday, November 15, 2004 in Forest Glen. Born August 11, 1985 in Moncton, he was the son of John and Darla (Bannister) Steeves. A graduate of JMA Armstrong High School, Class of 2004, he was a carpenter and had been an employee of Fawcett's. He played hockey in the Petitcodiac Rec League for the Hawks. Along with his parents, he is survived by sisters, Sulie Steeves (Jesse and Jayde) of PEI, Cortney King (Tom) of Moncton; brother, Zelotes Steeves of Quebec; grandmothers, Alveldia Bannister of Elgin, Elaine Steeves of Sussex; as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews from Florida, Alberta, Thailand and the Elgin area; and by his many friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Raymond Bannister and Vincent Steeves. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held from the Elgin Baptist Church on Friday, November 19, 2004 at 2:00 pm, Pastor Jason Cochran, Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be held in the New Elgin Cemetery.
