TANSLEY, Jane (Jean) (nee Clarke)- Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in the presence of her family at Masonic Park Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband George (1987). Leaving to mourn son Wayne (Cindy Tansley) of Halifax; grandchildren: Adam and Amanda and their mother Cheryl; brothers and sisters: Albert and
(Kay) Clarke, Patricia (Josephine) Viguers, Kay (Albert) Martin, Ruth Hall, Doug (Lucy) Clarke, Irene (Jim) Shute, John Clarke, Mick
(Sharon) Clarke; brother-in-law Harry (Ramona) Tansley; sister-in-law Eva Tansley; step-brothers: Ed (Joyce) McCarthy, Pat (Bun) Parsons and Brenda McCarthy; step-sister Sandra O'Neill; uncle Bill (Joan) Clarke; aunts: Mary Withers, Ruby Hann (Dot) King, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends. Special thanks to her extended new family from Masonic Park Nursing Home. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, February 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, March 1 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11 a.m.
