Leonard Joseph Bastarache INDIAN MOUNTAIN, NB - Leonard Joseph Bastarache of Indian Mountain, NB, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at his residence at the age of 84. Born March 22, 1920 in Moncton, NB, he was a son of the late William and Lydia (Collette) Bastarache. Leonard was a retired pipefitter with the CNR. He is survived by his wife, Pacita (Japinan) Bastarache; five daughters, Carol Calvert of Ontario, Jeanette Richard, Jeanne Carlson, both of Shediac, Rhonda Arsenault of Moncton and Gonzuela Bastarache of Moncton; five sons, Shane, Sherman (Debbie) all of Riverview, Deryl (Charmaine), Chad all of Ottawa and Glenn of Indian Mountain; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Ronny; two brothers, Don and Ola; a sister Rosita. Visiting hours will be held from Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held from St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, Woolridge Avenue, Riverview on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. Leonard grew to be a very skilled individual, who was blessed with great knowledge. This knowledge he passed on to his eleven children, which in turn made them who they are today.
