Gerard Doucette 1923 - 2004 REXTON, NB - Gerard Doucette, 81, of Kouchibouguac, NB, husband of Emerentine (Guimond) Doucette, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Lions Nursing Home, Rexton, NB. Born in Fontaine, NB, he was the son of the late Amedée Doucette and Henriette (Hébert) Doucette. He was a retired owner and operator of Doucette Trucking. Survived by his wife, Emerentine; seven daughters, Jeannette (Vincent), Blondine, Emerentine, Rosia, Jeanne D'Arc (Yvon), Jirene (David) and Doris; five sons, Bernard (Gisele), Alphonse (Alice), Alonzo (Rose), Noel, and Eugére; three sisters, Lauda, Bertha, and Henriette (Ben); one brother, Amedée (Charlotte); 16 Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am until time of funeral. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00 am. Internment in Claire-Fontaine Roman Catholic Cemetery.
