H. Winston D. Prince

H. Winston D. Prince 1915 - 2004 Winston Prince, 89, formerly of Lower Coverdale, NB passed away at Veteran's Health Center in Moncton on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edmund and Margaret (Blakney) Prince. He retired from the R.C.A.F. after 29 years of service and following his retirement he worked for twelve years with the Dept. of Social Services. Winston was a veteran of W.W.II serving with the R.C.A.F. He was a member of R.C.A.F. Association, Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 6 Moncton, the Riverview Veterans & Armed Forces Association and the Mayflower Society. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Allen) Prince; two daughters; Diane Baxter and her husband, Goodwin of Winnipeg, MB, and Margaret Gaudet of Moncton; two sons, Robert Prince and his wife, Nancy of Salem, NB and Charles Prince and his wife, Kris of Lower Coverdale; nine grandchildre; five great grandchildren; one brother, Robert C. Prince and his wife, Patrica of Vancouver, BC; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and William Prince. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday, December 17, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 11:00 am with Father P. McKee officiating.Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton in the spring. The Riverview Veterans Association will hold a veterans service on Friday, December 17, 2004 at 6:45 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home. Donations in Winston's memory made to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
