Lionel J. Dupuis 1926 - 2004 Lionel Dupuis, 78, formerly of Gerald Blvd., Moncton, passed away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, December 16, 2004. Born in Memramcook on June 3, 1926, he was the son of the late Edouard and Elodie (LeBlanc) Dupuis. Lionel was employed for over 44 years in the construction industry as a heavy equipment mechanic. He enjoyed darts, playing cribbage and spending time with his extended family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alma (Bourque) Dupuis; sons, Aldore (Joan), Ulysse (Lucie), Earl (Joan), and Ira (Jennifer), all of Greater Moncton; a daughter, Rose Allen (Bob) of Victoria, BC; sisters, Aurore (Laurie) Poirier of Memramcook and Doris (Leslie) Angus of Hamilton, ON; a brother, Romeo (Maria) of Stoney Creek, ON; grandchildren, Daniel, Kris, Amanda, Gregory, Natalie, and Nathan; great grandchildren, Jaelle, Dominik, and Nicolas; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Evelyn Hand, Bernice Bastarache and Beatrice Melanson; and a grand daughter, Natalie Dupuis. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, December 18, 2004. A Funeral Service will be held from the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, December 20, 2004 at 3:00 PM. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
