Hector "Nick" Beers 1935 - 2004 Nick Beers, of Pioneer Street, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at the age of 69. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Evangeline (Cormier) Beers. He worked for the City of Moncton for many years and enjoyed watching television and taking care of his grandchildren. He is survived, and will be sadly missed, by his wife of 38 years, Verna (Weir) Beers; his daughter, Sheryl Beers; daughter from previous marriage, Wendy Dorey; son from previous marriage, Mark Beers; sister, Betty LeBlanc (Bobby); and six grandchildren, Jessica, Cody, Jeremy, Shawn, Kamen and Reanna. He was predeceased by a sister, Ethel Keenan and a brother, David Beers. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Monday, December 27, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Nick's family. We will miss him lots.
