Herbert E. Walker 1931 - 2005 Herbert E. Walker, 73, of Riverview passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2005. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Trueman and Viola (Graves) Walker. Herbert was retired General Manager at Vail's Laundry and Cleaners Ltd., with over 50 years service. He was a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces (1950-53), "Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry." He was a paratrooper and served one year in the Korean conflict and was a member of Moncton Legion Branch #6. Herbert will be sadly missed by his wife of over 49 years, Doris (Arsenault); sons, Darrell (Sue), David (Rachel), both of Riverview; daughters, Darlene Ferris (Rob), Donna Irvine (Greg), both of Riverview; grandchildren, Christy, Jessica, Ryan, Sean, Alan, Mikey and MacKenzie; one great grandchild, Daelin; sister, Jean Duckworth, United Kingdom; brothers, Raymond (Joyce), ON, Tennyson (Hilda), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Neil and his sister, Blonda. A gathering and time of remembrance for Herbert will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Reception Room, Saturday, January 8, 2005, 11am to 1pm. Moncton Legion #6 Memorial Service, Saturday at 11am. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
