Edward Bliss Chapman
Edward Bliss Chapman 1915 - 2005 Edward Bliss Chapman, of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the age of 89. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Taylor) Chapman. He was a retired clerk from Weston Foods and had attended Wesley Memorial United Church. Also, he was a veteran of WW II, who served overseas with the R.C.A.F. from 19401945. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #6 and the Air Force Veterans Association. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Edith Mary (Austin) Chapman; sons, Thomas W. Chapman (Heather) of London, ON and Ronald E. Chapman (Melba) of Riverview; brother, William "Bill" Chapman of Aldergrove, BC and a grandson, Ryan Chapman. He was predeceased by sisters, Ethel Chamberlain, Kathryn Hannon and Nina Cash; brothers, Lorne, Albert and Earl Chapman. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 from 7 to 9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 will be holding a memorial service at 6:45 pm on Wednesday evening. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
