Sandra "Sandy" T. Humes 1950 - 2005 "Sandy" Humes, 54, of Moncton, passed away peacefully following a brief illness at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. Born in Moncton on October 3, 1950, she is the daughter of Lois (Cormier) Humes and the late Ronald A. Humes. Sandy was a graduate of Moncton High School and furthered her studies at U.N.B. in Fredericton graduating with a degree in B.Ed. She was a member of St. Augustines Roman Catholic Parish. She is survived by mother, Lois (Cormier) Humes of Moncton; one brother, Robert "Bob" Humes and his wife, Joan of St. John's, NL; niece, Carla Humes of Prince Rupert, BC and her daughter, Abbigail; nephew, Trevor Humes MD. and his wife Petrina of St. John's, NL and their children, Tara and Grace and by several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her father, Ronald A. Humes. Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, corner of Mountain Rd. and Dominion St., Moncton on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 3:00 pm with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB in the spring. Donations in Sandy's memorial to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by her family.
