Peacefully at his late residence on Friday, February 27, 2009, of Mr. Vincent D. Doiron of Canoe Cove, age 82 years. Beloved husband of 41 years of Ann (nee Finck) Doiron and dear father of Denise Doiron (Jim Ross), Charlottetown, and Deon Doiron, Milton, Ont. He is also survived by two loving grandchildren, Devon and Danielle, both of Milton, Ont.; his sister, Bernice Galbraith-White, Dartmouth, N.S., and his brother, Leo (Bernadette) Doiron, Peterborough, Ont. Predeceased by his parents, Dolph and Josie (Dowling) Doiron and brothers, Elmer “Mickey’’ and Lorne Doiron. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
