Blanche Leger
Blanche Leger 1919 - 2005 Blanche Leger, 86, of Dieppe, formerly of Memramcook, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2005 at her residence. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and the late Néra (née: Belliveau) Johnson. Mrs. Leger was a devoted person having donated her time and energy to various charitable organizations, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Legion Branch #89, Memramcook, NB, had been a parishioner of St.-Thomas, Memramcook and presently a parishioner of St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by one daughter, Anne-Marie (John) Clancy of Vancouver; four brothers, Claude (Rita) Johnson, Ronald (late Angeline) Johnson, both of Moncton, Bertrand (Majella) Johnson of Dieppe, and Jean-Marie (Barbara) Johnson of St.-Anselme; one sister-in-law, Marie Johnson of St.Anselme; two grandchildren, Brock and Brent; a special member of the family, Denise (Allen) Foster of Notre-Dame and her children, Nathalie and Daniel as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins. Mrs. Leger was predeceased by her husband, Cleophas in 1991; one sister, Lorraine; and by three brothers, Alonzo, Emery and Omer. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday, January 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jesus Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in St.-Thomas Parish Cemetery, Memramcook, NB. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. CHARTERSVILLE
