Frank Alfred Dobson
Frank Alfred Dobson WOLFVILLE, NS - Frank Alfred Dobson, 82, of Wolfville, Kings Co., NS passed away Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born May 21, 1922 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late William and Violet (Power) Dobson, Moncton, NB. Frank served as a Telegraphist (Special Operator) in the R.C.N.V.R., during the Second World War, overseas. He served on the ship The Haida. Frank also was Chief Engineer at Texaco Oil from 1953 to 1983. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Joyce; sister, Mabel; and brother, Edward. He will be greatly missed by many friends. At Mr. Dobson's request, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or memorial service. Donations in memory of Frank may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia, 17 Alma Crescent, Halifax, NS, B3N 9Z9. A special thanks is extended to Dr. Wightman; nurse, Judy DeWolfe and the rest of the nursing staff of the Medical Floor of the Valley Regional Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.C.
