Pierre Leger 1917 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Pierre Leger, 87, husband of the late Dorice Leger, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Cocagne, passed away at the Villa Providence, Shediac on February 1, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Cocagne, NB on June 12, 1917 he was the son of the late Alyre Leger and the late Elize Cormier. He was a retired carpenter. He attended StPierre de Cocagne Roman Catholic Church. Pierre is survived by five daughters, Odette Leger (Odilon) of St-Paul, Eliza Foster (Robert), Dorine Melanson (Gerard) both from Cocagne, Huberte Leger (Charles) of Grande-Digue, Bernice Leger (Roger) of Barachois; five sons, Edgar (Francine) of GrandeDigue, Maurice (Kari) of Calgary, AB, Guy (Donna) of Boston, MASS, Rhéal of Cocagne, Jean-Pierre (Joline) of Shediac; six sisters, Elise Leger (Lany) of Fitchburg, MASS, Mélanie Allain (late Odilon) of Bouctouche, Anne-Marie Després (Ulric) of Corona, California, Mina Cormier (late Irenée) of St-Thomas, Auréa Belliveau (late Victor) of StPaul, Bertha Richard (late Edward) of Bouctouche; five brothers, Telex (Alberta) Elzé, Armand (Elodiane), Léonel (Viola) all from Cocagne, Ulric (Lorraine) of Fitchburg, MASS; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild. He was predeceased by one brother, Cyril. Resting at St-Pierre de Cocagne Slumber Room with visitation on Friday from 7 to 9 PM, Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of funeral. The Funeral Service will be held at St-Pierre de Cocagne Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11 AM. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. Requested by the family, in lieu of flowers, donations to La Réparation de L'englise et Cémitiére or donor's choice would be appreciated.
